manifest.nix

فایل مانیفست، منشأ بسته‌هایی را که در یک پروفایل مدیریت‌شده توسط nix-env نصب شده‌اند، ثبت می‌کند.

در ادامه نمونه‌ای از نحوه ظاهر شدن این فایل پس از نصب بسته hello از Nixpkgs آورده شده است:

هر عنصر در این فهرست مربوط به یک بسته نصب‌شده است. این عنصر شامل برخی از صفات derivation اصلی، از جمله meta، name، out، outPath، outputs و system است. این اطلاعات توسط Nix برای پرس‌وجو و به‌روزرسانی بسته استفاده می‌شود.
